andreas wendt
Born 1966 in Annaberg-Buchholz (Erzgebirge) and grew up in Karl-Marx-Stadt (Chemnitz).
1987 to 1994 Studied at the University of Leipzig. Diploma in Art education and German studies. School practice and state examination (second degree).
1994 to 2000 Work as a freelance graphic designer.
2000–2010 Art Director and partner of the advertising agency wpunktw in Leipzig – a full service agency focusing on the areas of corporate design, exhibition design and webdesign.
Since 2006 Teaching activity in the field of graphic design at the Institute for Art Education at the University of Leipzig.
Since 2008 Chair of Design and New Media for art education at the University of Leipzig.
Since 2020 Director of the Institute for Art Education at the University of Leipzig
